“The OECD Guidelines on Corporate Governance of State-Owned Enterprises”, first adopted in 2005, is a document that provides a set of doo practice recommendations for the legal framework, regulatory framework, professionalization of public ownership and corporate governance mechanisms in State-Owned Enterprises. This version reviews a series of thematic and comparative studies, including issues such as publicity, transparency, financing, management practices and competition between public and private companies, with the purpose of generating fairer and more competitive markets.
