- Abstract
“Governance of state-owned enterprises in the mining industry in the Andean countries” is a document that analyzes the comparative experience of Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia and Peru on the creation of technological capabilities, innovation, value addition and productive linkages of State-Owned Enterprises in the mining industry. The findings show that the results obtained by the companies are heterogeneous, and provide recommendations for improving management, control, supervision and transparency in the governance process.
